Natalino Ronzitti was born in Portoferraio, Italy, in 1940. He is Professor Emeritus of International Law at Luiss University in Rome and Scientific Adviser at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI). He was visiting fellow and resident scholar at numerous foreign universities, including universities in the United Kingdom and the United States.
Professeur invité at the University of Paris II and occasionally as a professor at the University of Alexandria (Egypt), he holds lectures at numerous foreign institutions and universities. Prof. Ronzitti also lectured at the Hague Academy of International Law. He has been a consultant to the Foreign and Defense Ministries and Legal Adviser at the Italian Mission to the Disarmament Conference in Geneva. He is also a member of the Institut de Droit International.
