Alessia Schiavon

Alessia Schiavon was born in Padua, Italy, in 1988. She holds a master’s degree in Law from the University of Padua, where she also completed her doctorate in Criminal Law, after spending a period as a visiting researcher at Ghent University in Belgium.Also, she holds a specialization degree in Criminology and Investigative Sciences and a master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, pursued as a Rotary International Global Grant fellow on peace and human rights.

Over the years, she has been involved in diverse projects and initiatives at the national and international level, focusing her interests on the challenges posed by globalization and new technologies. She has been admitted to the Bar in Italy. At the moment, she works for the defence and promotion of human rights in the Legal Department of the Baltasar Garzon International Foundation based in Madrid. Alessia is a researcher at the Global Committee for the Rule of Law “Marco Pannella” specializing in access to information and artificial intelligence.
